Da fuck!?

#102 2 years ago

Wow…and yet I get a warning over a light-hearted Joe Biden joke a couple months ago!? Haha
All I can say is pick your battles and I’ve now wasted 3 minutes of my life I’ll never get back reading this thread.

#103 2 years ago

Where the hell did that come from?

I believe this is the worst comment I have read on Pinside.

#104 2 years ago

in before the lock !

#105 2 years ago

I just ordered the AIQ topper from GE. Will gladly take your spot in line.

#106 2 years ago

Lol moderated and the comment did have a purpose but I’ll remove.

Also - Coindork is an amazing asset to both the pinball and arcade community.

And, you seem to be making it personal

Dude, telling someone to fuck off is one thing, but this whole wife scenario makes you look like a sniveling little child stuck in an adult's body. Take your poor me and my topper story and jump into the nearest lake.

Unreal.

No class human.

#110 2 years ago

First you were not ripped off, see Deep Root or Predator threads for what a rip off is. This thread title is very misleading click-bate.

But let’s all make a big 100 topic thread about it because it’s Pinside that’s what we do.

Maybe make a Hitler rant video while you’re at it.

So long story short, I was obviously right about this guy from the start.

You folks should listen to me more often.

Federal law requires a business to notify YOU if they cant meet a shipping date.

They must get your consent to the delay, or issue an immediate refund.

there's also an unwritten law that says you shouldn't talk about another man's wife. especially in the context of assaulting her sexually. but that one doesn't seem to apply to the OP either. so maybe the rules just don't apply to him.

You are correct, I went over the top. Thought the attacks were getting a little personal, so I went ridiculously personal to make fun of where it was heading. Guess I read the room wrong.

You think...??? Try reading your response back to yourself before pressing "send"

#117 2 years ago

Fact is, we're in uncharted territory up and down the gamut of "stuff" pinball included. We all want our completely unnecessary bullshit and we want it right now.

The named, unnamed, has always been standup.

Repeat after me, "it is what it is."

#118 2 years ago

I think that pretty much tops any topper…

Ashburn...Virginia....

Dan Snyder, is that you?!

I kid, I kid. That really WOULD be making it personal.

I got on their site and it popped up that they sold one to a guy in FL today too. The intent of this thread may have backfired.

Why can you guys just not be normal?

I’m disgusted after reading some of these comments… I can’t believe so many of you don’t like toppers.

#125 2 years ago

I’m use to posting this crazy shit in the basement where everyone laughs and gives you an upvote. At the risk of tarnishing my Pinside reputation and being stuck in the basement to get more upvotes to negate the downvotes I might receive here....

The Op made it personal after other people did. Why did he get crucified?

He paid for something that Was to be shipped in 4 to 6 weeks! When that didn’t happen, the vender defaulted on the agreement they created with the OP. The OP continued to work with the vendor multiple times to receive the merchandise he purchased and paid in full for! Once he determined that was no longer an option, he requested a refund that it’s been what 2 or 3 weeks and has still not been received. Some folks are too busy, or have other reasons not to discuss business on the phone. Plus with email he has a track of the conversation. I would say bravo OP for keeping these things. When the shit goes south text and email may be all you have to verify tour position. Naysayers want to shit on the OP for wanting his merchandise. It shouldn’t matter if it’s a topper for a game. I’m not sure why it matters what it was!? If you don’t need it and don’t care that’s one thing, but if you need it, care, and want it then that’s another.

The vendor here may be a great guy and he may have great products, but the bottom line is he had an obligation to communication with the op! The vendor failed in his obligations and then made a I’m too busy excuse on Pinside to make his problems yours. They are not!

I would have requested a refund out of the gate! I get why you didn’t! I would have called the CC company and filed a dispute even tho it’s been a long time. All the card issuer can say is it’s outside of your AGREEMENT with them.

My two cents. Hope it gets resolved.

Any advice on the best way to handle this now?

No he didn't. There's a difference between offering explanations and excuses. JJ admitted that GEX blew it on communications in this case and said he'll expedite the refund. Which is what adults do when they make mistakes.

The Op requested refund on 10/28. Op do you have a refund yet?

Op did the item get shipped as agreed in ad when you bought and paid for the merchandise? If the answer was yes we would not be having this discussion....

The apology and expedition of the refund was a knee jerk from the vendor to the Pinside post. Their post of hosting the Pinside kissing booth was his excuse for keeping the OPs money for 3 more weeks.

Sorry, I’m confused as to “No he didn’t”

#129 2 years ago
Quoted from Gexchange:

As for not responding to the refund request on 10/28 I was at pinball expo running the pinside meet and greet, I simply missed you email. I am sorry this was not the service I would have liked to provide

Quoted from JT-Pinball:

JJ already said he missed the email. Refund processed today if the OP calls Jim, as soon as JJ can sort it out if OP doesn't call Jim.
Nothing more to see here.
