The Gottlieb "AS" relay adjustment sheet calls for setting gaps of size 0.05 inches and 1/32 inches but all feeler gauges I see on amazon max out at 0.035 inches.

What tool is best for measuring these gaps? (or do you take these feeler gauge tools apart each time to stack to make up width?)

Or perhaps there are only a few standard gap sizes common to all games so I just need those? Where to get?

New to working on EMs so thanks for any suggestions/comments!

If you put a .035 with a .015 feeler gauge, you get .050.

I just checker with a micrometer and a dime measures .055 so if you don't want to deal with a feeler gauge just a little thinner than a dime is the gap you are looking for.

Also- to fix EM's and get them running perfect, you certainly do not need any sort of gauge. Watch the mechanisms and adjust the gap so you get a clear open and a nice tight close with some overlap and slide- done..... don't matter what the gap is if thats happening- its right.
