What recourse is there for feedback when sellers are cancelling auctions? I had two transactions in the last couple months where I bought games from pinsiders. One of them was absolutely fantastic and I would like to share that feedback. The other was absolutely not fantastic and I would like to share that as well.

I assume the intent is to evade the modest fees pinside charges, but in one of these cases it's also evading feedback that might help someone make a better decision in who to deal with.

    Scummy pinsiders in both cases.

Not much you can do to link your feedback to the sale, but you can go to their profile, then click feedback, then on the right side of the screen click "leave recommendation" and write what you have to say there. It will go in their feedback section, but not be linked to any sale.

I also thought this was a way to avoid fees and feedback but have seen several ads archived for machines that sold with fees paid from members with no reason to fear feedback. The only other reason I can think of is to avoid continued inquires about the machine while it’s pending.

Feedback is 100% meaningless since the changes discussed in the following thread: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/negative-recommendations-feature-removed

Ah, I didn't know that was changed. That really sucks. It basically makes it so a bad seller can just mark a machine as unsold to avoid negative feedback. That's terrible.
