I'll typically give the front page a quick browse and then go to "Topics in which you posted". Lets say I was posting an an AC/DC club thread and I've since sold the game. I don't want it muddying up my list now that I am no longer interested. Does draining the post make it invisible forever? I may want to check in and see if I can help with troubleshooting, or I may buy the game again, but I don't want it on my main list. Unvisit removes it from my viewed topics, but not topics I've posted in. Is there a way to unvisit topics you've posted in?

I was hoping it was something obvious. Maybe I should start using viewed topics and unvisit the ones that don't interest me.

Does the "hide idle" threads toggle button get you what you're looking for?

I think the problem is that the threads usually aren’t idle. The ACDC club thread OP mentioned is a good example, as I did used to have this and was posting but sold it years ago. I hide idle threads in the ‘topics you’ve posted in’ view but it still shows up there often. I find myself ‘cleaning up’ the view occasionally by clicking on a lot of the threads with new posts just so they go back to idle and my list shrinks down to the topics I’m still actively posting in or following closer.

I agree. Post enough, over time, the sort becomes useless.

Unfortunately this is pretty difficult to pull of, technically.

You may want to use the "favorite topics" functionality instead?
