Show was meh. Not getting that 2010 TWD thrill. Too much character buildup of dysfunctional individuals I normally would not even like in real life.

Characters aren't relatable to the core demographic, but still developing.
Too slow of progression in general. But story arc seems real enough.
If annoying characters become likable in this new universe, makes those who 'stuck with the show' appreciate them long term.
Coming from a TWD huge fan, FtWD is not giving a strong showing so far. My entire family watches TWD together, this show only me trying to watch it so far by myself.
Quoted from aobrien5:Ugh, of course they leave the door open right after seeing a zombie. Wtf? Write better! I HATE it when characters are so obviously stupid just to set up drama. It's like GoT art - lazy!
I found the monopoly game uninspiring. No one gets Boardwalk AND Parkplace that fast. Took me right out of the show.
Buried yet another FTWD in an AMC survey.
No connection with entire cast.
No heavy scenes of society crumbling.
Military not giving a rats ass. Yeah. Sure.
Characters just gone with no death scenes.
And where the Fuck are the Walkers??? ( Kimberly waitress was ok though.)
And AMC is really pushing this crapfest with this web series:

Pre-pre apocalyptic? Cmon man.
Keep in mind they needed the horde to move away, not be burned or destroyed to lure all other straggler walkers far from Alexandria. It was the noise of the walkers drawing others into the quarry. If a large horde was moving on up the road it would continue to draw those behind that way.
Besides, it would take vast amounts of fuel to even make a dent on that hoarde.
The truck collapsing blew the plan of a smaller controlled hoarde.
No spoilers mentioned Taxman. I mentioned a passing conversation Rick had with Carl in the show after Carl lost his eye.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:There's no longer an overarching goal to the show and it's become stale because of it. Fighting one group and another, and then another may be fine for the comic but not a TV show that has been running this long. The show needs to find a sense of mystery again. How about getting a radio signal from Washington DC and going into the city since its so close? Now that would be cool. Right now the show seems rather stale.
Having Carl be the immune one may work cuz he and Judith have been growing along with the Walker virus. maybe if the children survive long enough the hormones would adapt.
Gimple has been getting blasted since the Carl bite. Chandler Riggs just bought a house in Georgia and his Dad blasted Gimple on FB. Chandler was supposed to be on the show for another 3 years.
