I am having a sound issue with my Fireball Classic. All of the short chime-like sound effects seem fine. Point adds, switch hits, etc. all seem fine. The problem is that I am missing the background sound/music that plays continuously (which normally speeds up as more balls are released). My assumption is that this is generated by the Cheap Squeak board, which appears to be powering up because I see a green LED illuminate for about 20 seconds when the machine is turned on.

Any ideas?

The Cheap Squeak board produces all of the sounds. Look near the front of the manual. It will tell you how to change the settings so that it plays with or without the background noise.
