I like to tap the wire a little further into the pf before it try pulling it up. I do this in an attempt to break any grip the clear might have on the wire. I have some pieces of oak and 3/4 acrylic that I put next to the wire and pry upward. A little on each end with a screwdriver. I also have some thin oak shims I use to get the screwdriver at the right height.
