There are quite a few themes that have been made into pins at least 3 times. Which trilogy is your favorite and why? Also, do you own a trilogy? Let's see some pics!

#2 10 months ago

My favorite is the Elvira trilogy. Unfortunately, I don't own any of them.

#3 10 months ago

Trilogy beer games, they give you beer!

#4 10 months ago

How about Williams Apollo, Space Shuttle, Space Station?

#5 10 months ago

Black Knight! Maybe not the best games.. but easily the best theme.
I don't see it in the vote list, but the disaster trilogy is probably the best playing trio: Earthshaker, Whirlwind & Dialed in.

I actually thought of putting Whirlwind and Sega Twister together as a tornado theme, especially because they both have the fan toppers, but I don't know of a 3rd tornado pin.

Captain Fantasic is Elton John, not the Who.

No love for the disaster trilogy?

Whirlwind, Earthshaker, and Dialed In would get my vote.

Yeah, but that's Elton John's character from the Who's 1975 rock opera "Tommy"

Love all 3 of those games, just didn't occur to me to put them together.

What about trilogies with gambling themes, cowboys and outer space? Certainly can't leave any of those out.

You can even have two for one themes with games like Alien Poker and Cosmic Gunfight!

Edit: alright ok.

How about Nordman's Party Trilogy? Party Animals, Elvira and the Party Monsters, and Party Zone. All under the Bally name too.

Yeah, good thought, but I would have had to double dip for that one with Elvira and the Party Monsters, as it's already in the Elvira trilogy.

Had BK and BKSOR sitting next to each other for awhile. Plan was to complete the set but a BM66 happened and the BK had to go away.

Game and Fish Trilogy:

Frontier, Fish Tales, Big Buck Hunter

Pat Lawlor career trilogy! Gets my vote for sure.

Edited for context...

I don't know, I was always partial to this Gottlieb Trifecta. Poor quality picture from my old camera but you get the idea.

I'm surprised there aren't more pictures. Doesn't anyone own any of these trilogies?

#19 10 months ago

The one with the best pair, each time.

Christopher Lloyd Trilogy: Back to the Future, Addams Family, and Taxi

I really thought Jurassic Park would do better, especially with the newest Stern being so highly rated and the Data East version being popular for so many years now. Guess I was wrong.

#25 10 months ago

Overall I'd say Elvira, although I'm just meh on Party Monster and House of Horrors.

#26 10 months ago

Mermaid, SCUBA, and Fathom would make a nice grouping.

It would indeed make a nice trilogy, and considering Mermaids can fetch north of 25 grand probably the most expensive one to put together.

High Speed
Rollergames
Getaway High Speed II

Rollergames was supposed to be HSII.

This one I thought about. I own all 3 of those, so if Rollergames had been HS2, I would currently own a trilogy! (Although if RG had been HS2 Williams may have never made Getaway. Who knows?)
I've also kicked around re-theming my Rollergames as High Speed 1.5, but I don't know if I have the patience for a re-theme.

#30 10 months ago

I always thought Road Show was the next disaster one after Earthshaker and Whirlwind.

AFM / MM / RFM could also be a triple, at least as much as Rollergames with the High Speeds.

And you can get to three with the Universal monsters: Creature, Dracula, Monster Bash.

#31 10 months ago

Here's another fun trio.

You get massive bonus points if you have one of these. Atari sourced parts, but never assembled them.

I guess you could do Stern Pirates of the Caribbean, JJPOTC and then the Zizzle POTC, but using a Zizzle to make a trilogy is really a stretch.

Just picked up Star Trek the Next Generation. Now I'll be looking for a Bally Star Trek to complete my first trilogy.
