I'm 72 originally from Oakland,Ca!I've seen everybody either at the Fillmore,winterland,Family Dog,Avalon ball room, and the Oakland coliseum!My favorite memory was "The Beatles" August 29.1966 Candelstick Park,SF.I was 16!!

I have one for ya,1970,I was drafted, and went to a B.B.King show at the Fillmore west! On the display outside said "also tonite Elton John" ! Nobody had ever heard of this guy so we just went in and sat down! B.B.King came out and did a fantastic first set!! Then,on stage was a piano.And this guy came out and said"Hello,I'm Elton John! He played for the first time, the "Madman Across the water" tour.and completely killed the crowd there! Good memory before going into the service!!
