Mine is the juggernaut. From the xmen. Although my main introduction to the villain came in this Spider-Man story.

I like the juggernaut because I need a helmet like his now. After my brain surgeries.

I of course love thanos and galactus and many others.

I don't want to give spoilers on those spider mans but they need to be read. If you haven't already read them.

Comics are amazing just look at thanos holding captain marvel back by his head like a toddler.

To me man Cobra Commander in the 80's Marvel comics was such a bad ass, a former used car sales man who became ruler of a terrorist organization hell bent on taking over the world...the cartoon series was a mild to say the least compared to the comic books!

Not a comic, but a cartoon. Wile E. Coyote - Super Genius!

Man, X-men has so many great and complex villains (or antagonists...as often with XMen they are not really villains...I don't view Magneto as a villain, for example).

As far as pure villains, I'd say the Demon Bear from New Mutants was pretty awesome.

Rogue was a bad girl too. Look at her steal thors powers...

    image (resized).jpegimage (resized).jpeg

I read all of those new mutants when they came out. So good and just far ahead of the time.

At the see exact time I was reading Thor by Walter simonson.

    #17 6 years ago

And if I recall correctly I was reading new mutants, Thor and the very beginning of teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Ok really I will stop now.

Also for villains I liked all of Iliana's rivals from limbo. All of them were so great for so many different reasons. Sy'm is literally the exact thing an 8 year would be completely terrified of so he was the perfect monster to harass her when she was a child.

And on top of that, his power apparently included being able to keep the butt of a burning cigar in his mouth...no matter what happened to him, it just stayed in his mouth...he could get punched through a wall and it would look like it flew out of his mouth but in the next panel it would be right back between his teeth. This photo below is right after decapitation:

    IMG_5287 (resized).JPGIMG_5287 (resized).JPG

    #20 6 years ago

And Belasco, another foe of Iliana (X-Men name Magik) was even cooler. Look at this panel with Kitty Pride (you know the artist was laughing his butt off when he drew this up):

The Mandarin. I always thought this guy was super intense. He wears alien souls on his fingers that give him insane powers. Found in a crashed spaceship, they were looking for help, instead he killed them all and took their power. Super evil dude.

Emma Frost is certainly a key anti-hero or antagonist (even at her worst with the Hellfire Club i wouldn't view her as a villain necissarily).

One of the better comics I have ever read regarding the undead and villains in the marvel universe, plus a smashing collaboration from prominent comic artists. detail (resized).jpgdetail (resized).jpg
