Jacob's ladder, deepest scary move I've ever seen. It really makes you look at things a little differently. Dont Google plot, best to go in totally blind and it'll keep you hanging til the final curtain call. Or at least imho.

I'd love to be able to watch that sitcom he was in from the 80s? Get a life or my life or something like that where he's a paper boy adult living with his parents...but the couple times I tried looking couldn't find it anywhere.

He is great. Plays the same idiot in everything he does.

He was the son of Bob Elliott, of Bob & Ray fame

Back then it wasn't necessary. She probably had Bill in one hand and Harvey Keitel in the other. lol.

My personal favorite film of all time. Alec Guinness plays multiple roles including a woman. Doesn’t get better than this, if you like black comedy.

Anybody mention Macon county line yet? Also what's the one with Clint Eastwood and the dim witted dude. Where there looking to steal or rob something together ?

    #376 4 years ago

I'm still trying to come up with one I saw a while back. I need pinside's help.

The movie is probably less than 20 years old, is a dark sort of comedy that starts out in some desert dive bar and they need to make a delivery and has something to do with aliens I believe.

I've been racking my brain all day!

    3000 miles to Graceland

I started this one for my girlfriend and she said "I'm not interested in watching a bunch of Elvis impersonators."

And the machine guns were uncased.

Oates played the nurd Pontiac GTO driver.

Race With The Devil (mentioned twice) and the Devil's Rain are two good ones I forgot about. Gotta watch those again.
I want to watch Hard Times again but no luck finding it so far, Netflix doesn't have it.

I’m a huge Alec Guinness fan. This comedy from 1953 features a young Yvonne DeCarlo. Absolutely fantastic.

This is a pretty good movie. Early Kevin Costner. Right before he hit in Silverado. How many of you ever heard of it?
