Waterloo.
1970 joint Italian-Soviet production about the Battle of Waterloo. Sounds terrible right? The Italians financed it and provided the principle actors, and the Soviets contributed 2 Infantry divisions and a Cavalry division with 17,000 men! That's right

It's on youtube for free in about 6 languages if you want to check it out. If you don't want to watch the whole thing watching Napoleonic war battle formations at scale in the last third of the movie is fantastic.
Tom Berenger.
Are the Sniper movies now considered somewhat obscure? Because I can watch the whole marathon in one sitting.
Quoted from JayDee:[quoted image] (toxic avenger)
Not obscure but awesome so I'll allow it.
Quoted from o-din:Tom Berenger.

There's more than one?! Seriously?!
Yeah I'd say fairly obscure. Saw this one at a half price theater when it was fairly new. Can't say I remember a single thing about it except that Tom Berenger was in it.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Not obscure but awesome so I'll allow it.
You've already allowed it 2-3 times in this thread!
I would have accepted Exorcist II: The Heretic, as not to upset Pazuzu.
I would have respected Exorcist III, because it's the best one.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:There's more than one?! Seriously?!
Oh yeah! Billy Zane really steps up in Sniper Reloaded.
There are eight in the series so far.
And you thought Fast and Furious was a juggernaut....
What I like about the Sniper series is Beckett's (Tom Berenger's) demeanor. He is constantly dealing with assholes and could easily take any of them out, but he always keeps his cool and really cares about and takes care of those around him.
Quoted from xsvtoys:I'll see your tower movie with another:
I'm going to go one higher.

You are going to have to stop man.
THE FUCKING BLOB?!?!
On which planet is it obscure? The one the Blob came from?
I'm sorry, Levi. I sort of figured that if a 45 year old movie, Thundebolt and Lightfoot, that I saw in the movie house in 1974 when it was brand new, and now it is on Netflix, and you are just now seeing it, I sort of figured if you considered T & L obscure then maybe I could slide a 65 year old movie, The Blob, past your cross hairs.
Even in the day, The Blob was not part of any conversation and most people reacted with surprise to learn Steve McQueen was in something other than Bullitt.
Here ya go.
Johnny Cash as a crook. 1961
Lousy movie. I lasted for 15 minutes.

I was surprised he knew about The Fly. I just assumed most on here thought it is a movie with Jeff Goldblum in it.

Or the one that started it all.

I still have a thing for Airport 75.
If Charlton Heston can't save the day, noone can.

Quoted from Lysurgeon:[quoted image][quoted image]
I did not know a movie was made of the Nazi witch. She was brutal.
Quoted from mark532011:One of my favorites in the obscure category is “The Green Slime” still available to watch in its entirety on YouTube. Alien fungus that grows to eat electricity and attack a space station.[quoted image]
Great film.

Jimmy Stewart literally is wasted in this movie, although it's fun to watch.
Quoted from Groo:Love this thread![quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Ah yes, Final Countdown. Kick ass movie.
Quoted from cottonm4:I don't recall this one getting a lot of attention. But all upper rated actors.
It was a good movie. 1992.

Walter Hill is one of the most underrated directors. I've seen at least three of his gems in this thread so I feel compelled to share one of his recent overlooked gems.
Bullet-to-the-Head-Poster (resized).jpgQuoted from TecumsehPlissken:Tawny Kitaen never looked better than she did in this movie[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
She did look great back then. But now I don't know what's been lifted more, her face or her boobs.
