You are right
some of those games (including Bally's by this mystery artist(s))
it appears that the BG and PF and plastics were
done by different artists
or at least in a different style
or not as much detail or are more cartoony
in a subtle way.

My avatar Wild Wheels is my favorite Bally BG next to Magic Circle

by guess who??
the mystery artist

Twilight Zone is my favorite. Game amazes me every time I play it.

That is cool! I guess what having this mystery artist or artists did was bring a greater variety to the look of Bally and Williams pinball machines at the time instead of just having one guy do them all. If it was left to one artist and one only, he might have been spreading himself a little thin and all machines would have looked too similar.

I would love Bally EMs more if they were not such side (outlane) drain monsters

#106 4 years ago

I would love more Bally EMs for the same reason.

Just send all those Ballys my way then.

One for each other
And all for one
The three
Brave Amigos are we
Brother to brother
And every one
A brave Amigo
We're fighting
For justice
And liberty
Wherever you find us
Is where we will be
For the three
Brave Amigos are we

We are the three Amigos
We are the three Amigos

Over the mountains,
Across the plains
The three
Brave Amigos are we
Stamping out evil
'Til none remains
The brave Amigos
The three brave Amigos
Wherever they need us,
Our destinies lead us
Amigos
We're always together
And wherever we go,
We're three brave Amigos
And we'll be
Amigos forever

We are the three Amigos
We are the three Amigos
We are the three Amigos
And Amigos forever
We'll be

Quoted from chalkup8:

Absolutely all Bally's between '76 and '82 love that era of pinball.

Same here, love the early Bally machines. If I had to pick one right now I would say Xenon.

Centaur for me, why only have 90's pins in the poll? seems like most of the fav Bally pins are pre DMD and I love that. Fathom and Fireball, Electra and Vector so many more that trump anything in the 90's.
