Quoted from BoP:Love Flash Gordon, finished the restoration on it late last year.
I plan on doing the same with my Fathom after I get Xenon finished.

I have been getting some good reports on the upgraded ball kickers, with strengthened up sections, found here
https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace?type=product&q=swinkskicker
- lhs white one is the original version and
- rhs blue one (you can pick your own colour) is the strengthened up one
photos from BoP's beautifully restored fathom
Quoted from Joey_N:Ordering the kickout plastic now..
What's the deal with the grey spacers in the pic? I haven't started on my restoration, but seems like mine has a stack of some pieces that I didn't think looked original there. How did it ship from factory? Would be neat to have a 3D printed spacer there!
Thanks for reading..
hey Joey, thanks for the support, I can model up a neat one piece spacer if people want it, just need:
internal diameter
external diameter
length
only take a few minutes to make it available
Quoted from Mudflaps:Put me down!
they can be found here, single or twin pack (which you need to trim back but saves a few dollars)

Quoted from Pinoffski:I had a mate do my playfield swap for me

Quoted from WAM:So I know Marco has outhole kicker 3D printed for $27. My question is where can I find the file so I can print my own. Save at least $35.
end of the day a home printed one is not going to last long at all
mine are made by Shapeways in the US and I have 3 options - original, upgraded and upgraded strong and are solid nylon and laser bound (SLS)
the marco ones (they use to buy mine but now designed and ordered their own) are also a solid nylon but the grey material means it is MJF which is solid nylon but bound by a fine spray glue - which gives higher detail but does not handle impact force well, hence why they have beefed theirs up more. I did make a few in this material until learning that impacts can cause breaks so went back to SLS.
I would go for the SLS type in the Upgraded strong and save a few dollars.
I also offer the kicker arm lane guides as well which Fathom and a couple of other games require as the slot is wider in the mech and can cause the kicker arm to wander and break if the guides are missing.
my reproduction parts can be found here

and specifically the ball launch gear here
