Must agree with the doctor. At first I was resistant to changing the linears over. But I did do it, and no looking back now. The flippers are distinctly more responsive.
As the mass of the linear plunger is significantly more than its predecessor, then the good old F = ma will tell you that acceleration of the plunger ain't gonna be what it could be!
