    Hi Guys,

I have looked at the docs and gone through the framework info a little.
From what i can tell 'drivers' connections are for the coils.

    http://docs.missionpinball.org/en/latest/hardware/fast/drivers.html

But this board doesn't appear to have any direct/power ground.
From what i have read, the positive goes to the coil and the negative from coil goes to the driver board.
But the driver board only has the in/out to the main board through CAT 5?(which is tiny cable)

Is this correct??? At this stage, i'm doing research to put together a project build using FastPinball, trying to get my head around as much as possible.

    Thanks
    Tristan

Each of the driver banks on the fast boards have a ground connection.

If you check out the driver headers on this 1616 you can see the GND connections.

It took me quite a while to get up and running without a clear wiring diagram on how to set up FAST hardware. But I managed to find a couple of images a couple of years ago from somewhere that might help.

The above diagram shows an example of what John explained.

You connect the high voltage out from your FAST Power Filter board (shown below with blue arrow to playfield devices) to the coil, then connect the 'A' end of the coil to an available spot on the driver bank. Connect the ground from the filter board (black arrow to playfield devices) to the other end of the driver bank.

In MPF, the driver bank numbers will help you match up the coils in your config.
