I am posting this due to 2 fantastic experiences I have had working with Eddie Cancelliere on getting some machines moved around the northeast. First one was where I was introduced to him by a guy buying one of my games (also a great guy to work with). Eddie was at my house the next day which was a saturday. Eddie called me first to arrange the pickup then called me 20 minutes before arrival as I had requested. The level to which he packed the pin was incredible and had it not been a 4500.00 machine I might even say overkill.

Next experience was yesterday and today. I called him yesterday to get a game 4.5 hours away from me (but pretty close to him) and he got it today and brought it today. 275.00 but again wrapped to the extreme and again the communication was flawless. Just call him with both addresses and he will map it out and give you a quote as soon as he is stationary.

Eddie does not do email, text or anything electronic aside from talk on the phone so it's unlikely he's posting his services here. I am trying to help him drum up some more business because he's awesome at what he does and a super nice guy to boot. Oh and he asked me to tell people about him if I was happy with his service. I didn't tell him I was going to do this so if you want his number just pm me. I think he does the entire northeast from MD up but not 100% sure.

I have also used Eddie a couple times, excellent!!

    #3 6 years ago

he has a lift gate on his truck, wraps nicely and usually gets the job done within a couple days. Price usually depends on location. He has been doing this for a long time...He doesn't do OH, but does PA, NJ, NY, MA and maybe a few other eastern states.

I've used Eddie a couple of times, he is fantastic!

    #5 6 years ago

    What's his contact info?

    #6 6 years ago

When I saw the title I thought it was about me. Lol.

    #7 6 years ago

    Whats his phone number?

He’s a great and very respectful guy - both to the pins and to your house! I have had him pick up a pin I sold to Rob at Rockland and he’s hopefully (haven’t scheduled yet) delivering one soon. I am just outside DC. Best packing job I ever saw in my life

    #12 5 years ago

I use Eddie allot and refer him just as much. He will be at my house on Tuesday to pick up two pins. Cant say enough nice things about him.

    #13 5 years ago

If he’s only contact is via phone, you should post his phone number here. I can’t see how he would be upset about that as he wants additional business, and the only way to get a hold of him is via phone

    #14 5 years ago

Eddie bailed me out big time last year on a delivery when I messed up my hand. He’s dependable and trustworthy.

I’ll ask him if he wants his number posted here publicly. Maybe he doesn’t. Anybody who wants his number can just pm anybody in this thread who has used him and get it.

Eddie serves a relatively small area - basically the Northeast - and he's just one dude. He's not looking to challenge NAVL and seems happy with his word of mouth model.

    #15 5 years ago

I will chime in here too. Eddie is the best. Totally dependable and wraps games like a mummy. He treats your property like his own. Great guy and very reasonable.

    #16 5 years ago

Another satisfied "fast Eddy" customer here. Picked up a game from me the day after the customer said he'd take it. Would like to use him sometime in the future. Lost his number though but know many people that have it.

I'm glad this thread was bumped today. He will be at my house tonight to pick a game up and deliver it to the New Jersey area. I haven't used him before, but I haven't heard a bad thing about him either. This gives me a lot of peace of mind.

    #23 5 years ago

His loafers give him special powers !

    #24 5 years ago

Eddie is INCREDIBLE. The man's an ox! A couple years ago he picked up my TWDLE. Totally blown away that a 70 year old guy could move the way he did. The man takes pride in his work, and I'd recommend him to ANYONE in a second!

    #25 5 years ago

Ed picked up my TSPP tonight and I can’t explain the excellent job he did wrapping the game. He is an awesome person and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the northeast. If anyone wants his contact you can PM me as well. Excellent person.

    #26 5 years ago

You have no worries with Ed. I have even trusted him to bring me back over 7K for machines that I sold. Most would be tempted to buy crack and pay for sex, not Ed though, he resists that kind of stuff and I had not reservations trusting him.

One suggestion for potential customers: offer to help! I always try to help with the process which he appreciates. I got him to admit that it’s not uncommon for a customer to stand back and watch with arms folded as he does all the labor. Not cool!

    #29 5 years ago

Can’t imagine watching him go through his process and not helping.

    #30 5 years ago

I always help him and throw in a couple of bottles of water too.

    #31 5 years ago

He delivered me a game a couple months back, he's a great dude. Very respectable and personable. He packs everything so well and takes care of everything. Good man.

Over the Weekend Fast Eddie was called by my client to pickup a TOTAN that I had just finished working on. The machine had sat for over 2 weeks due to the snow that hit the day after it was finished, which buried the walkway from my arcade to the driveway.

Its quite a long walkway /ramp its steep and wraps from the rear or the house to the side of the house.

The call to Eddie was a spur of the moment kind of an ASAP request as the snow leading from my shop to the driveway had melted. The machine only had a small window to be removed before the path was snowed in again.

The client made the Call around 7am on Sat and Eddie was at my House by 2pm to come and perp the machine for moving. Normally I do the Prep because I am very anal but Eddie requested that he do the prep and I didnt want to step on toes. Besides that I was running a fever but I did have to help anywayI couldnt just stand there and let Eddie do all of the hard work.

Needless to say on a moments notice Eddie came and picked up the machine and now its on its way to its owner. Where it not for Eddie coming from Albany with an early morning call the machine would probably have remained in my shop until Spring.

Eddie is just an all around friendly nice guy. They dont make them like him anymore.

Eddie sits in my Arcade with a well deserved bottle of water after the machine was wrapped. Water was all he wanted!

Eddie is the man! He came to my house to pick up a Swords of Fury I sold. He treated that machine as if it were The Addams Family Gold #1! If you ever receive a delivery from Eddie with undisclosed damage, you can be assured it was there before Eddie picked it up!

He just delivered a scared stiff today and is the real deal. Super nice guy who really cares about doing a great job. He wraps the machines perfectly and takes the time to get the machines fully setup and working as they should. I highly recommend Eddie...you can't go wrong with him.

I just want to thank rcbrown316 for this thread. I met Ed (Eddie) years ago and lost contact with him when I got sick. I tried his old email, kept an eye for game ads and could not reach him. Thanks to this thread we reconnected.

As others have stated, Eddie is a standup guy and will take the utmost care in moving your machines. There is nobody better in the business.

Agreed, Eddie is the salt of the earth. He stopped by my house last week to pick up a pin that I sold for a pinsider in NY. Very conscientious. He doesn't use GPS and I knew that the road he was going to take was closed, so I drove him a few miles out to catch the interstate.

Holly smokes - I just met the guy they call "Fast Eddie" and had to bump this thread.

This guy is super-friendly and customer service oriented. He asks all the right questions before pick-up & delivery. Further, he is SUPER anal about wrapping our Pins and how they're transported on his truck. He seems genuinely interested in getting machines delivered safely and in the hands of owners, as quickly as possible.

    +1 for Eddie

Would he do NC to Pitts?

Dunno, give him a call. I think Virginia is about as far south as he travels (but I could be wrong). Also, he doesn't text or do email.
