Quoted from TheBananaPeel69:

So i just got around to repairing my flippers on my FG ive had for about 8 months.
the right one had no end of stroke actuator and the springs were in need of a lil Viagra.
Replaced springs everywhere then did the actuator. I had already polished it all and did new coil stops and sleeves.
No my flippers are INSANELY snappy. Totally expected.
What isnt, is me easily breaking my high score records. Making Chris and Meg shots are easy as heck. I have progressed quite a bit as I’m new to pinball, but this feels super easy.
I’m attaching a pi of my flipper alignment. It looks like ive done it right.
Is this just an easy game, and my better skill plus finally good/new/clean flipper mechs is showing that?
I always thought the shots were a bit challenging, but i had broken 100 million before. Now i can do it pretty much every time.
My machine was always better than location FGs, which had weak flippers, targets that didnt work, and wear.
Thanks!

So, is there simply no way to change the extra ball settings on this? I get them for doing basically nothing.

New Owner…just unboxed. Been building collection over past 6 months but quick story below about why I bought

-Watching show for over 17
-Worked in building with all FG Staff, including Seth
-FG Dad of Year for letting my 4 & 7 year old boys watch adult language DVD episodes ( single dad on a long RV trip with only an old school dvd player).
-Girlfriend loved to hear me laugh so much that she bought me all the FG DVD’s…one if big reasons I married her!

-Fast forward to getting boys into pinball at 20 & 23 and wondering why no TSPP, South Park or FG and then wife playing FG on location ….asking me the same thing!

Only played a couple games myself but have RBION and Love Lawlor Pins thought what the hell. Took delivery and unboxed yesterday and 1 hour of playing with a beer tuned into 3 hours and a lot more beer. Helluva fun game and the Stewie PF doesn't bother me. Most of my games are fast and flowing without a lot of mechs.

The callouts are awesome, especially for FG fans. I watched a lot of gameplay videos and some tournaments before buying so not sure why game isn’t more in favor with hard-core pinheads. I told a couple of my pinball buddies and they were less than enthused. Oh well…I dig it and for entertainment of guests and laughs it should stay around for a while.

Not everything has to be serious so I say…lighten up, grab a drink and play Family Guy!

Hmm…do I know you?

Strange. It’s one of stern’s best SAM era designs & rulesets. If they haven’t seen Sperm Attack Multiball (the final wizard mode), they need to shaddup and play more.

Ditto - NIB in '07 and still bolted to the floor. Hands down the most popular game among visitors, year in and year out.

I worked at 5700 Wilshire for iHeart Radio and parked in reserve on 2nd floor. Never made it back after Covid hit….moved to Nashville and just retired.

Pinball has definitely taken over and I keep buying but finally traded away another great Lawlor game- RBION BUT…picked up Banzai Run!

Glad to hear about others and having for 17 years. My cousin has South Park and FG is way better game IMO, TSPP is a great game but for some reason, never a big Simpsons fan. Boys wanted me to get Rick & Morty…concerned about reliability.

Hoping to play more over the weekend!

Congrats! Hm, maybe we crossed paths at some point…I coulda invited you into the studio to play our FGY pinball!

We’ve mostly all been working from home since 2020. I finally got the last of my stuff out of my Wilshire office recently. We’re finally gonna move to a different location after 20 years!

Bought mine NIB from Barry Wynn (or whatever his name was on ebay) and I still have it. Great game for fans of the series.

Congrats on finally getting out of that office. Always seemed to be under construction or some sort of remodel. I miss the farmers market and food trucks sometimes but not the $20 salads across the street.

Work from home and hybrid have crushed the two buildings as iheart cut its footprint in a major way and renegotiated $/sq ft

Players, and I mean REAL players, own FG's because the ruleset is deep and challenging and some of the best tournament players own them. Regular players seem to like it in tourney but only if you turn off the up post otherwise you can play for hours if your good at the mini Stewie table.

I have a couple of letters that aren't lighting up on the Stewie playfield. I did a quick look under the mini playfield and it looks like it's one board underneath. Has anyone replaced their non-working bulbs in the mini playfield?

I had a few flakey ones when the game was new, I heated them up a bit with a soldering iron to reflow them, and they’ve worked ever since.
