I noticed on my family guy 2 black wires hanging by the end of stroke switch on the right hand flipper. No problem.......soder those back on. Immediately when I touch the 2 wires together in switch test mode it says the EOS switch is closed. So next I try just for fun the left flipper manualy closing it and that EOS switch won't even register. Also why are there 2 black wires for the right eos and only one on the left that go to the swithc. Are EOS switches critical on Strern pinballs, or just let the 2 wires hang there. Just picked this game up recently and noticed these wire hanging there. What to do........any help..........Thanks

The lower flippers should have EOS switches attached. It will work and most won't notice if they're disconnected, but they should be there. Look in your manual to see which wire goes where.

I assume both wires go there since it looks like 2 wires were sodered on at that spot. Game came with no manual.

Each EOS switch should have 2 wires attached. 1 for each contact.

Most newer Stern's have the manual available online.

They yellow section will show you the wiring.
