Apparently, Stern is making a limited production run of FG's exclusively for Automated Services. I happen to think 6K is kind of insane, but if you're in the market for a NIB FG, here's your chance ...

And that's just the pre-order price. According to the site, the price will go up on June 10th.

Jeez, what's going up in price faster these days, petrol or pinballs!?

Unfortunately the former is taking all my money at the moment!

Now for sale ... "Green" manufactured new Family Guy pinball machines. Prices reflect the cost to go environmentally correct on production. Buy now and help the environment !!

Wow 6k for a new FG -

#7 12 years ago

I still need to play the first one, no idea if it is worth 6k.

#8 12 years ago

I thought they were doing a possible LE Pirates first...
Does FG really have the demand/support for a second run?
I'd rather hear "TSPPLE" myself.
Especially with those beautiful GITD green trimmings!

Mmmmmm, trimmings.
AuuugghhauuGhhhhaaa...

Edit: How about a giant "Pink-Glazed Sprinkled Doughnut" for the topper with LED's shining through the sprinkles and Homer in his Devil suit just eating away...
Just a thought.

It's not, you can get a pristine AFM for that.

I know I can't imagine passing up some pristine classics to get a FG for 6K.

You probably summed it up better. I don't know how they are going to sell them at that price but I guess we will see.

You could get an NFL for $8000. I wonder who will pay that?

#13 12 years ago

Well at least Stern is doing "something" now they have competition with Jersey Jack.
Only time will tell who's marketing and designs prevail. I'm still happy with my decision to purchase my first NIB machine being the WOZ. Heck, he's even responded personally to a couple of my emails.

P.S. And yes he is well aware of the Pinside website and forum.

#14 12 years ago

I wouldn't pay that for a FG.

#15 12 years ago

6K is hard to pay for a FG. It better come with Gold plated legs!!!

#16 12 years ago

Not with what we know WOZ will have for similar $$$.

I played Family Guy and was thoroughly unimpressed. I cannot comprehend paying $6k+ for that machine. Lowbrow theme (come on... "Sperm Attack"? "Fart multiball"? DMD animations of people vomiting?) doesn't seem to translate well to pinball. Plays better than most Stern machines, but it has nothing on a good Williams/Bally machine - which could be had for a fraction of the price.

Ide rather see a TSPPLE too NimblePin with a lcd tv playing itchy and scratchy instead of the tri color dmd.

There is exactly one person who will buy one of these...
