    Good Evening,
I was on FB PinBall for sale and mentioned in a post if anyone had a stranger things prem that they were looking to part ways with to shoot me a PM. I get a message 2 days later from a person in Bemidji Minnesota. She said she has a Pin and gives me a price and several pictures. Machine looks good and the price seems about right for the market right now. Seem legit but I'm a liitle concerned about working a deal through PM on FB Messenger. Anyone in this area possible available to go look at the Pin if this is legit? If so send me a PM and we will see what we can work out.

If it’s too good to be true it is. Everybody with google knows what they are worth now.

And if it’s too good to be true and it isn’t, whomever you send there to go check it out will probably buy it out from under you.

Stay local and stay realistic and you won’t get ripped off.

    They are a scam

Post the pictures so we can see. The Pinside detectives will tell you where they really are from.

I've never had a problem asking a faraway seller to hop on a Zoom call and walk me through the pin they are selling to show me it works and to just feel out if they're legit. I'd recommend doing this if you're really interested in trying to work a non-local transaction. If they balk you know your answer, and if you get a video call you can go from there. Good luck!

I’d be wary of sending money w/out references — good use of escrow here, assuming the game exists and is checked out to be legit.

    Stranger Things (Premium)

How much was the asking price?

    #18 2 years ago

    The pics are from
    https://47pins.com/product/buy-stranger-things-premium-pinball-machine-online/
    listed in san fran california

when you get pics like this, save one, then go to google images:
    https://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&ogbl
click the little camera icon thingy and drag the saved image over to it

ps - $5,100.00 AND 47pins is listed RIGHT AT THE TOP of the SCAM WEBSITE LIST in the STICKY
    so just don't, umkay?

pps - MAYBE the scam site stole'd the pics from Bemidji Girl - don't want to TARNISH her fine self. But Still - HARD pass.

pps - I also hope Snowman is OK

I visited with Shane (Pinball-Newbie) and he informed me that he was going to pass on this as the communications with the seller did not go well...

Thanks Chris_p for the message... All is well here in Bemidji!

$5100 for a loaded STh Premium... those go for over double that price. Definitely a scam.

    #21 2 years ago

Thanks guys for the help on this one. The price she gave me was $9500 so it seemed more in line with what I have seen on here. Regardless the last communication with her threw up several red flags and made it an easy decision to pass. Again thanks for the help and advice.
