Quoted from CitznFish:what do they normally sell for?
Lots.
And it is a lot easier to make the serial number of the game match the plate than the other way around
Quoted from shlockdoc:What happened - ended early?
No, it's still there. Some guy named Shlockdoc is the high bidder at the moment.
And I'd NEVER end an auction early

I find it hilarious that anyone would put forth any efforts to "match numbers" on a pinball machine.

Plenty of collectors out there looking for these...

I agree, esp since changing your game serial numbers to match the new collector plate would mean you are ruining the added value of an original machine
Quoted from shlockdoc:Whoever said to change serial #'s?
That must have been me.
All I have to say about that is this: When a game leaves Pinball Restoration Heaven in Matthews, NC, regardless how it came in, it leaves with every board # matching the cabinet #'s and matching the head #.
And no value was lost in the process; quite the contrary.
Quoted from Bigdaddy1000:Hmm... Looks like those would be really easy to make with a 3D printer perhaps?
The original is metal so not too easy to remake.
A few years ago I made one for myself using plastic resin: http://flippersbe.blogspot.be/2012/08/cactus-canyon-collectors-plate.html
