Williams, 1985What would cause the solenoid fuse to blow every few games on a sorcerer . It will boot and work for a bunch of games and sometimes only a few, and then the solenoid fuse blows. Does that sound like a pf switch issue ? It has been doing it more and more frequently.
I’ve check the switch gaps and none are stuck. Just curious where to look next.

Would a special solenoid connector be a possibility or does it have to be the switch somehow getting stuck closed
F2 is the single fuse for all solenoid power (B+). It could be any solenoid but it is most likely to be a special.

Otherwise, System 9 has no software activation of the special solenoid drives, instead relying on the hardware to activate it via the special solenoid trigger (playfield switch).

The first thing I would check is the physical movement of the mech, then the coil resistance. If you’ve got one pulling too much current that will eventually blow the fuse.
