Is someone planning on doing F14 Repro playfields anytime soon? I've seen rumors, but an exhaustive Google search comes up empty.

I'm pretty sure I saw that PPS said they should be coming out in February, but hopefully he'll chime in and confirm.

I have a f14 playfield I picked up from a guy , looks like it was barely played and just sat in storage, so a little grungy. Have removed the mylar without pulling any paint. Shoot me a message if interested in photos.

Great news that PPS is planning on reproduction playfields. My recent purchase could definitely use a new PF.

I checked in with Rick around a week ago, but he's stopped giving estimates on availability as folks get fed up if the dates are missed. He said that the supplier has every incentive to get them done sooner rather than later. Apparently the playfields are cut/routed, the inserts are made and the artwork is ready. So I'm just going to sit and wait, my F14 is on hold until then.....

Been an imminent project for a long time. I went with the playfield protector for the time being (still to be reassembled). If/when they do come out I'll have to consider getting one. But if the protector works well, the new pf may be wall art for awhile since the pf swap is a whole different level of work.

They will now! Thanks dude... Lol, Im kidding... that is an unconsidered possibility, but I think that is too "deep". In this day and age of cash, cash, cash (lol, what "age" wasn't like that other than "Stone"), I think they will be selling and shipping at the first possible moment.

LOL. If they were smart they'd put out a repro now, and in 3 years release a 30th anniversary edition. Then all the suckers that buy one now will want the 30th version as well. Suckers like me.
After doing a playfield swap on my Firepower, and enjoying the much improved look and feel, I'm actually considering buying an F-14 playfield where I wasn't before. It plays decent now and with the LEDs on, it looks good, but the inserts have the expected wear and faded blue inserts. Hmmmmmm.
The more people that take the time to make a request, instead of moaning on here, the closer you will get.
I would really like to understand how they come up with timing on repros of stuff....I see many things on there and was wondering why they did this, or that game when there is sooo many more popular ones...

I think all the pf makers are loaded up with WOZ, MMRE and Hobbit pf's, so f14 took the back burner.

i'll just be happy when the Blue and red arrow inserts are available to buy. Restored plenty of F14's with cracked fins on those inserts. but the blue ones are impossible to find and the red ones I had to import from Aussie.

This. My playfield needs only minor touchup, but I can't start restoring it because I need those arrows. I don't want a repop playfield, just want to restore my original.
