Mine has done that too. I think part of the onset has raised on mine. I was going to hammer it down flush. Heat gun is a thought too.
Yea the fuse is good but it keeps blowing a transistor on the board. We're going to trace the wire to see if it has a short somewhere.
When we first started diagnosis we found the Q69 transistor (pop bumper circuit) burnt on the main board. We put in a new one and it burnt. Then changed two other chips as I call them and put in new transistor. This get real hot to the touch. Could the short may be in the low voltage circuit? We have been doing some serious research online. Would putting a relay snubber in for the pop coil Silve this? The low voltage circuits are handling too much amps. The snubber will fire the coil and then dissipate the high voltage away from the main board.
