F14 is in players condition, Dr Dude is in great condition, no wear. What do you all think. I have played F14 and it is fun, not played dr dude.

#2 6 years ago

Dr. Dude all the way!!! No contest. You should add a poll.

#3 6 years ago

F14 because it's pure adrenaline and I love the light show and multiball.

Dr. Dude is a great game too but it would get on my nerves after a while if I owned one. Mostly the duuuude voice.

#5 6 years ago

Gotta go with F-14. I definitely didn't get the same rush as while Playing Dr. Dude. Killing Yagov for extra ball is an incredible light show.

#6 6 years ago

Dr.dude because you can become a super dude.

#7 6 years ago

Do what I did, get both of them.

#8 6 years ago

I own both and enjoy both but if I had to pick one I would keep F-14 all the way.

#9 6 years ago

Poll added. Thanks for the opinions. Wish I could get both but have to keep wife happy.

#10 6 years ago

I want to like F14, but my game times are so short. It’s a fast game and it’s not too expensive.

#11 6 years ago

Dr. Dude.

Plus cosmetically, they're generally in better shape.

#12 6 years ago

I also came to this decision last year at an expo.decent shape f14 that played great or a really nice Dr Dude with pinblades and pinapron that really tied it all together.after playing them both throughout the day I went with f14 and could not be happier.I have played Dr Dude since I still feel I made the correct choice.it's not a deep game bit it's an adrenaline rush.

#13 6 years ago

You will "totally enjoy the Dude" Mix master jackpot is very unique and quite satisfying to hit. Great game!
F14 can be very brutal and turn players off.

#14 6 years ago

I eventually want a Simpsons Pinball Party? Either of these worth more in a trade scenario?

I'd probably give the edge to Dr. Dude. Seems like F-14s pop up everywhere, and they don't seem to sell too quickly. I see far fewer Dudes for sale. In either case, it'll be tough to trade a System 11 for TSPP, unless you sweeten the deal with a fair amount of cash.

Dr Dude will fetch more in a trade deal especially if it's in great shape. I got $2k value in a trade deal i did for my Dude. You'll rarely see an F14 fetch that much.

#17 6 years ago

Oh I would definitely put in some cash for a TSPP....that is the one machine I must own at some point.

#18 6 years ago

I have owned both and they are both gone. They were fun for a while but the staying power is not there for me.

#19 6 years ago

Over the years I've had 3 F-14 machines and one TSPP. None of them are here. I would buy a Dr. Dude before I bought another F-14 or TSPP.

#20 6 years ago

Really before anTSPP? I have not played enough to say what I love, mousin around is my first and I love it. My skills are not great, I have a Gorgar I am selling anda taxi I will be getting.

#21 6 years ago

F14 is a surprise hit for me. Bought it on a whim but really enjoy it. It is brutal but I like the challenge.

Haven’t played a dude yet.

I had one for 5 years. It's fun but after playing it a long while, you begin to notice it's an early Stern and there are way too many hurry ups and repeated sound effects. The thing that really bothered me was Lisa and Marge are both completely absent from the sound package. After putting up over 100M on the game it just feels like chopping wood.

#23 6 years ago

Dr Dude is a far superior title.

No brainer.

#24 6 years ago

I am partial to f-14 but dr dude is better, a bit more to do.

#25 6 years ago

Dr duuuude!!!

#26 6 years ago

DUDE there's no question lol

#27 6 years ago

Dr Dude!

#28 6 years ago

I owned a Dr. Dude for a couple of years. I had never played it before I purchased it, but I couldn't pass it up. Glad I bought it. It was a fun game. Played F-14 numerous times and I can't play it worth crap. Games times for me are super short. I would give the edge to the Dude.

You can approach TSPP differently. If you want, you can avoid any "wood chopping" complaint and treat it like a shallow game with an intense single ball challenge that can net you massive jackpot points.

Start and finish all the modes in a single ball without time running out. Each shot will be 7.5M after completing them all. If you can pull that off, you could double your 100M high score. And it wouldn't take an hour, because everything is stackable. It's an awesome game.

TSPP is not just deep, it's wide too. Can't do anything about Lisa and Marge not being in the game, but many of the call-outs don't come out until after you've accomplished stuff.

My High was more like 375 but whatever, after 5 years that game is a bore. I don’t miss it and when I am at friends places that own the game and I play it once, that’s enough for me for a long while. I feel the exact same way about Lord of the Rings.

#32 6 years ago

I just want one because of the theme. Wish someone had a players condition or routed that I could pick up for a good price.

But on the topic note I think the dr dude will be the way I go, someone offered a LW3 for about 250 more but the wife says have to stay in budget unless I wait another month or two.....what do you guys think?

I agree about LOTR. Had it, loved it, got sick of it, don't miss it.

But whatever. TSPP is better

Dr. Dude all the way.

#35 6 years ago

I've owned my F14 for about 4 years now. Still enjoy playing it. I love seeing how many landings I can rack up during a single multiball sequence.

Now you need a Dr. Dude to see what you have been missing.

Ive honestly never tried it. Not easy to find in these parts. Would like to try it sometime though.

#38 6 years ago

Agree with superbee... where we are, there is a listing for a Diner for $3800..... and it's players condition

#39 6 years ago

When I retire I'm going to drive up with a trailer load of pins and sell them to pay for my health insurance.

I have had Dr dude for a few years and it's a great crowd pleaser. I've played a lot of games and don't want to sell. I have Mousin Around and the two are great together.
I am going to be picking up F14 this week. It's a different animal. It's fast and furious and frustrating like few other games. It's almost a love or hate thing. I happen to appreciate the challenge. 1 out 4 might be a good game. In a home use environment it's perfect.

F14.

It was the only game I played in a while that made me a better pinball player.
If your ball times are too short, you really gotta play more, get multiball and land 3 balls for the flighter jackpot.

I got a lot better at pinball going after this and the lightshow was very rewarding.

#42 5 years ago

I think short ball times are ideal for a home pin. Keeps you coming back for more.
