I feel terrible, shipped a fully working f14 and when it arrived it keeps reverting to factory settings warning after every power cycle. Batteries are brand new lithium. Took a dmm reading from positive on far left to negative on far right and it read as expected ~5v.

I suggested reflowing solder on battery holder. Does that seem right? No evidence of acid damage.

Have him test Diode D-2 for an open.

It was the battery holder. Replaced and problem fixed
