2 new problems cropped up on the ol girl and I don't think they are related. 1st is the diverter on launch is only letting the ball go to the last ramp and is stacking the balls there. 2nd going up to launch lane to the right the ball will not kick out, just hear clicking. Upon further inspection I noticed a couple more things. If I take the glass off and start a came and manually put the balls in the center 2 diverter lanes the balls will not pop out of there either. Also doing a solenoid test none of those or the diverters activate. I can also hear a clicking noise in the back box I never heard before this. New to this repair game so i appreciate any and all help!

Quoted from frunch:

When you run the solenoid test, exactly which coils aren't firing?
The clicking you hear from the backbox is likely the A/C relay which switches between flash lamps and solenoids. Not something to worry about for the moment.

Everything fires but the 3 out holes that the wire ramps lead to and the top left outhole that launches when you "lock on"

Will do. I am home now and the game is 1.5 hrs away so these test/checks will happen next weekend. Thanks for all the advice. I will report in next weekend with my findings

Latest development, I fired it up today juts to make sure it was still not working correctly and now to add to the issues I don't have any flippers. I have not played the game in a week it just sat. Thoughts?

Quoted from frunch:

Check the fuse for the solenoids at F2 on the power supply board and the fuse on the small flipper power supply board below that. According to the schematic in the manual, they should both be 4a slow-blow/MDL.

Fuses were blown. Game is now working. Not sure what blew them.

Are the other problems are resolved too?

Yes, everything works. She's not the prettiest so I think a coil may have bound up and pipes the fuse. Once lake season is over I'll do some much needed maintenance

Nice! Good luck moving forward. Keep us posted if the problem persists.

Will do. Thanks for all your help

Dont forget to add the fuse to the 2 rectifiers in back if you havent already.

If everything is working do you think there is still a problem with that fuse? What do the rectifiers do?

Disregard the picture.....

Quoted from slochar:

They're not fused on the input side on earlier system 11 games - so if they short, in theory it's supposed to blow the main fuse. Sometimes that doesn't happen and they catch on fire. Definitely add them as insurance especially for a routed game.
They are used to convert the AC to DC for a couple of the circuits I forget which 2 I think one of them is the solenoids though.

Sounds logical, if you did this do you have a picture of it and the parts I would need to get?
