So I'm going through my newly acquired F14 and find the ball gets stuck periodically next to the pop bumper. Generally the right side, but it did happen on left once.

The pop itself seems a little weak, but watching videos it seems normal I think.

I have noticed that I'm missing 2 bumpers , both on the outer sides of the gate.

In transparency, I have not leveled the game yet as I'm cleaning, replacing, repairing at this point in a temporary location.

Is this a common occurrence? I didn't get any results from a search for this issue. Any suggestions or things to check?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

That gate wire is not correct. Someone has made this and did not copy the original.

100% correct as always, thank you from all of us owners Grumpy, your awesome. I had the same issue from a home made part. Marco has both left and right and are easy to install.

I had the same problem with a home-made gate. Looks like it's a common problem.
You can fix it temporarily by making sure the gate is flush with the end of the trough.
Yours protrudes too much.

Thanks so much!

Now, had I posted this last night I wouldn't be making my 3rd order to Marco!

I guess I'll try to adjust it a little until the correct part arrives.

Get more than one set of gates. They tend to break often.

#8 6 years ago

Really? I've never heard of them breaking. Not saying that you're not right just saying I've never heard of it.

Sorry new phone. Went from Blackberry to Google pixel. First time with an Android phone having a hell of a time figuring things out.

If possible, either remove/replace or straighten those posts too. That rubber will help the ball bounce past the gate.

Quoted from SUPERBEE:

The gates get a lot of abuse due to the flippers pounding the ball off the targets in that area.

Well, I ordered a set from Marco, and bent the current gate to allow better play. So far, so good.

The correct gates should be here for our Thanksgiving extravaganza!

Thanks again, super fast response time!

Anyone want to post a pic of their right gate wire attached for me?

Mine stays up from time to time. Thinking I have it on backwards but can't figure out how to twist it on correctly.
