Changed the transistors and driver Ic and it's still dead.Q33 and q29 are the transistors and u20 is the chip.
The switch works.I hear and feel the contacts making on the bottom of the playfield.ALL fuses are good and so is the coil.
I'm not sure what happens (or suppose to) when the contacts make...other than the coil firing. (which it's not)
I don't want to keep backtracking and changing componites that aren't bad.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Nothin"

Yeah---there doesn't seem to be any.Coil is good though.I replaced it just to eliminate that problem.Wiring looks ok

I'm sure it does go to another coil..should go to a flasher..but I traced it going to a fuse and then to the backbox.I might have missed something.
Anyway, switch testes OK ,but the coil test doesn't pop it probably because there is no power at the coil.
Still looking.Thanks

Snap... I'm blowing a 5a fuse in the backbox. It goes to 8p5 and 7p6, but I have no idea what that means...It's the white and yellow wire

No power at the fuse under playfield, that's why I went to the backbox. Can't figure how I missed a blown fuse. But anyway, looking at the schematics to figure where to look next.
The fuse blows during power up before a game is started.

Thanks for all the replies. I got it running 100%. The fuse issue was a shorted socket under playfield.Had a socket against a ground.I figured that out buy knowing it was the GI fuse,so I looked at which bulbs where not working and went from there and found the short.
Now the kicker, like the socket, was another self induced problem.Apparently when I changed the Q33 transistor I pulled up a ground trace and never noticed. It wasn't much, but enough to not make contact.Still not sure why the transistor popped in the first place, but they are known to do that.
thanks again. I always get great help here !!!!
