Ad says its been tucked away for years and just needs rubbers. Not sure what these go for.

Me too. I think $900 is pretty average.
In my opinion its a really really good game, super fast, high octane stuff......different strokes for different folks
F-14 was a landmark game for sure, awesome Steve Ritchie title. Top system 11 game, very fast and heavy flow, just a ton of fun to play and challenging. I agree the price should be in the $800-1000 range for a working decent example, $1200 it should be in top condition, little wear if any, good PCB's etc.
List price on CL isn't what you take it home for. Offer him 7 after you point out all the flaws his stored machine that "just needs rubbers" has. Cash is king.
