Can anyone tell me what turns on Flight Insurance on F-14 Tomcat?

Hitting the Yagov kickback lane gives a brief flight insurance. I think there are one or two other ways that aren't as common. It's in the manual, adjustments 40/41. If you have really low ball time you'll get a ball saver on the last ball.
Also as noted previously, it can be set to light briefly on a Yagov shot.
The last ball timed thing is something williams was trying out at the time, games like Pinbot and Cyclone will light the extra ball for you (they called it "bozo ball") for collection if you did really badly on a game.
