Quoted from Blakeski:

The sound issue. I have no voice, no music.

There can be a lot of things that can cause this. As gutz has stated it is a Pinbot board, but I think it can work in your game. I think you have more then one issue going on here.

Quoted from Blakeski:

And as far as the display, the top two work great. The lower ones have power as there are lines running through them

This can be a display board or a CPU board issue, you would need to use a logic probe to test. Either way it would require that a chip be replaced. I'm not sure if your ready for that.

Quoted from Blakeski:

and it looks as though somebody as put a different display in the board?

This is a new replacement power supply board. The display board is located on the back of the displays.

Quoted from DumbAss:

You want D-11581.

There was an early version too which is very similar to this board.

Quoted from Blakeski:

I don't see any number on it saying what model it is...

The Williams sticker in the corner has game #549 on it. Game #549 is Pinbot. Your CPU is from a Pinbot too.

Quoted from Blakeski:

As far as the displays... it looks like someone has replaced the two lower ones at some point. What would be the direction a new guy should go to getting things back in order?

If you want to buy a 20.00 logic probe I can walk you thru testing to determine the issue.

Sound issues are one of hardest to troubleshoot, unless you have experience. I can think of a least a dozen reasons for the sound problems, you are new to pinball but do you have any electronics experience?

Quoted from Blakeski:

I guess I should be inclined to learn as I have 2 machines and hope to get more.

Good, then get a DMM and a logic probe. We can find out why your displays are acting up.

Quoted from Blakeski:

But I watched sooner videos online about f14 and mine does not have any music nor voice.

I have an F-14 at present and if you want you can send me the sound board and I will test it in my game. This will reduce the number of possible problems in half.
