Open up the manual and go to the switch matrix chart and see if those switches your talking about are in the same row going across.This will help narrow down the problem.report back

Ok switches have nothing to do with transistors.Lift up playfield and start with the first switch in that column.Look for a loose wire on those switches going upstream
