Sorry for the newbie question but what tool should I use to install a new interrupter on my TOM?

#2 6 years ago

https://www.greatplainselectronics.com/products.asp?cat=140 I'm not sure which size, you'll want one of the first two on Ed's page.

Thank you.I should have been more clear, I am looking for the correct size tool.

This will work for both sizes

I have one and works good only a bit hard on the hand so I cover open end with rag when using it.

Thank you. Do you know what size is used in the TOM?

Do you know what size is used in the interrupter connection?

Both sizes are used .062 & .093. one size for magnet and other size for light.

I replaced my interruptor a while ago. I don't remember having to remove the molex housings (I didn't own the extractor back then). Maybe my memory is foggy...

Cut the wires and soldered them back together ? Defied the laws of physics and pulled a big connector through a small hole ?

What ever you forgot has to be awesome.

I would never hack my favorite pin

How the heck did I do that! Now I am curious.

OK. Looking at the machine just now, I must have used a small screwdriver. There is no way around physics!
