Looking for some help. I keep losing the extraball feature on my DE Starwars (even when reaching replay score). The only way I found that fixes it is to restore default settings. But when I do that, I lose high scores. It just started happening, and I'd say it stops working after 100 plays or so. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or is there a way to restore default settings but keep the high scores? I'd greatly appreciate any feedback

Sounds like your RAM has an issue holding memory. Your batteries are good? Post a picture of the big MPU board.

NVRAM is a quick 30 second upgrade on all DE/Sega/Stern Whitestar machines that removes the need for batteries.

I think this will help your situation. In the adjustments menu. Set number 42 adjustment *Extra Ball Percentage* to the highest percentage. I think it is 50%. Factory default setting is 25%. This will allow you to achieve extra balls for a larger number of games but eventually the preset percentage will be reached and the game will behave the same as the factory preset 25%. The game will award extra balls when the percentage drops below the predetermined threshold.
