    Rubbing alcohol is typically 70% isopropyl alcohol in distilled water. Pure isopropyl alcohol or reagent grade is 100% isopropyl alcohol with nothing else in it. There should not be any other additions to either grade isopropyl alcohol unless the label clearly states them as ingredients.
    At least that's my recollection from my days as a chemist.
