Anyone try these games out with an external sub? I've had a sub in the cab of previous LOTR, but wondering if an external would work well with the sounds. Also curious to hear of what people are upgrading in Met pro.

Thanks - Scott

I put an external on Met - its FANTASTIC. LOTR suffers from so many sound issues that I would put my sub on MET first. I used the pinball pro for LOTR it was just fine.

Have a sub on Met Premium. Great results. Unfortunately on the pro theres no spinners which do a wicked double bass machine gun kick, but overall it's better with a sub. The coffin MB intro forcefield sound is deadly with bass cranked up!

I have a polk psw10 connected to tron and lotr. Its great on tron...as many have said before. LOTR is just okay. I leave it connected and think it sounds fine. A couple deep hits when the ball goes up the vuk to the potd.

That being said, I wouldnt specifically buy one JUST for LOTR...but if MET and LOTR are next to each other and you have 2 inputs, its pretty cool.

I have 3 extras right now. Guess I'll hook one up on Met and see how it sounds.

Lotr audio quality is crap I've heard. Not sure if a sub on that game would be worth it?

Ditto here!

It is worth a sub just to hear the spinners on Met Premium alone
