Quoted from delt31:I have a polk 10 and I usually add it to the existing sub via clips but after doing this on my Metallica pro, I'm not thrilled with results. I feel like it's due to the majority of the sound still coming out of that stock sub. What do you guys suggest doing? I could get an updated kit from FF or something like that but I'm not sure I need it.
Right now I'm about to buy this as I heard it could be good. Does this result in the stock sub not being used at all?

Thanks guys. Metallica pin is becoming one of my fav btw.
My PS10 works great for me on Metallica. Do you have the postive and negative terminals hooked up correctly? What frequency is your crossover(LOW PASS) at? If you go too high on the Hz it will get muddy. Try a few setting between 80-120Hz and see if that is more to your liking. You could also try disconnecting the stock sub in the cabinet just to see what impact it has.
