Im thinking of adding 3 spotlights and 3 led strips (with 7 LEDs on each) to my GI lightning on my WCS.
The game is 100% LED, so I should have some juice left I guess.. But I dont want to stress the machine more than I have to.
So the question is should I run this on the games power supply or should I add an external power supply and run my mods from there?

I second that. If you go for color dmd down the road or undercab lighting you'll for sure need it. I ended up wiring a computer power supply to the coin door bill validator power on my stern because it's switched. I then mounted it securely in the cab so it doesn't go anywhere when the machine is moved. Planning on powering led backpanel, undercab leds and flashers, pinstadium, and possibly powering pinsound with it as well.

If you are using 6.3 volt bulbs and strips there is plenty of power left over on the GI circuits because you switched to led GI. However you must not add any thing extra to the 12 volt circuit with out adding a external power supply.

Any thoughts on what kind of power supply I should buy?
