Eight Ball also had no playfield coil fuse. You are right about the service bulletin. I have a copy of the bulletin, but I have not scanned it. A friend is buying an EK on Friday and I can get some pictures then for you.

I now have the two page service bulletin scanned into a pdf format. It applies to all Bally Eight Ball machines and some of the Evel Kneivel machines. I have now posted it here:
