Quoted from pinhead52:

maybe even $10K

Really? The game is not even that good. I did a service call a few weeks ago and the customer had a complete EM EK head/backglass assembly mounted to his wall. I did not think anything about it. I am a non EM pin collector so when I see an EM it does not interest me.

I grew up with this game and really enjoy it. I played both versions extensively as a kid in NJ.

I still played at quite frequently when I visited Silverball Museum prior to the COVID garbage.

You should go back and try to buy it.

How much for just the head?

I called the Grand Rapids guy yesterday and inquired about his EM EK. I asked him what happened to the rest of the game and he said when it was in storage the area flooded so the cabinet body was trashed. The head of the game was on top of the cabinet body so it survived the flood. I offered him $800 for it and he said maybe one day he will find a cabinet body that is missing the head.

Bummer Tommy!! But at least you tried and he'll remember you someday when he's ready to sell it, just don't pester him too much about it but just keep in touch like once a year and tell him to give you first chance should he change his mind. Speaking of, how many of you have ever found a matching body or head to a head or body you had and were able to put the two together to make a complete game? Lets hear about it.

I did once on a 1980 Williams Black Knight. I had the body and then a few years later I found a complete head, minus the backglass.

My EK EM is #1119 (119), but the playfield is #1118 (118).
Wonder if the cabinet 118 has pf 119?

Ok, thats cool it's a WTB/WTS thread for upper and lower cabinets but not what I was really asking about. I was asking if anyone has ever had any success in matching up the two cabinets and making a finished game out of the two pieces. I wanted to read there story and what it took to get it done. Someone else can post it up on the forum if they want and take all the credit, I don't mind.....LOL. I am going to post on that thread though as I need a Sea Jockeys lower cabinet and playfield.

#65 3 years ago

Perhaps, but some people just don't always respond to offers/emails and if they don't then thats there way of saying no. Remember, I still love you.
