I want to know how a game like Champion Pub was ever made/approved. During a time where pinball was in a decline, you’d think B/W would be looking for every reason to strip costs from the title, yet CP has tons of unique mechs (that I’m sure required all sorts of expensive from-scratch tooling), a silkscreened backglass, and a daring playfield design. All from a designer that hadn’t made any previous games.
