Asking for a friend who has one of my machines WCS94 and with COVID-19 lockdown I'm not going to check it out. He claims that every game asks to enter initials as it is the high score to date. I've had a problem in the past (about a year ago) with this game's battery pack losing its connection (possibly from prior battery leakage that may or may not have been thoroughly cleaned up) to the CPU, but the symptom there was factory reset. Now, he claims the game is still set to free play, so I'm supposing no factory reset is involved, and since there are built-in high scores, I don't understand how every game played is a high score. Any ideas?

Have him try doing a factory reset and or remove the batteries place in new ones
