    This is a data east flipper. That steel nub is supposed to be a river grommet. WTH are they doing here?

    Is that a bolt with the flats machined off? Either that or someone had a very large can of hardware lying around.

    I don't know what it is or was. It's perfectly factory round and smooth. The threaded stud doesn't look welded on. It looks factory also. The top does not look factory. It looks like it was taller and someone cut it that short. The plastic washer is strange also. It has plastic tabs inside to hold the threads. It's nice actually, I've never seen one before. Looks like a lot of work for a hack.

    looks like part of a coil stop for a flipper
    like on dat east to hold the flipper in place?

    Looks like somebody had put a coil stop in place of a rubber bumper.
