    These were the main fuses in the Williams Grand Prix I'm working on.

    I've never seen fuses with solid plastic bodies like these.

    Did someone fill them or cover them with glue or resin or something?

    No they're molded that way.

    Not surprised to see this. Fantastic plastic. Any logo or brand name on the metal ends? The 60's was lets made it cheap with plastic look at some of the Williams ball shooter rod holders.

    They have the amp rating on one end and a couple have agc on the other. It's on the very end not around the diameter like the glass fuses.

    I'd be a little concerned about them potentially melting from the heat without knowing who made them or what kind of plastic was actually used.
