This is how one of the plastics on my Demolition Man was when I got it. The guy i got it from said it was like that when he got it also.
I mean someone took some time to do this repair lol. I have a replacement plastic but I cant bring myself to install it. The stitch work is pretty damn impressive.

That's how we used to do our snowmobile hoods to get thru the season

Now I could see that being done on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. It does look good.

I have done this on a front fender of my dirt bike when I was a teen.

Seen it plenty of times on cars, mostly low-dollar race cars, but never that cleanly done.

I know! lol thats why i cant bring myself to replace it. I mean hell the drill work alone impresses the hell out of me.

Frame this plastic and place it next to the game, install the replacement.

I have seen many snowmobile hoods stitched together with zip ties.

Demo Man 2 is in the works. Maybe the stitches will become relevant.

Sheet metal technicians in the military are trained to do that kind of repair. They would repair cracked plexiglass on helicopters that way as a temporary repair until the window could be replaced. I would suspect someone had that type of training/experience. Hence why it looks so good.

Been there done that...
Its surprisingly strong and beats buying expensive plastics that I'll more than likely destroy again. Its even pinball related on the one repair.lol
