My interest in pinball has ebbed and flowed over the years. Sometimes I’ll go weeks or months without playing, but it’s not all about playing for me. Or how much I spend on games.

I like the repair, restoration, and maintenance aspect. I get to tinker, clean, restore, and fix these beasts. I feel good preserving them for the future.

Then I can step back, look at my hard work, AND I get to share that work with friends and family when we all play over some beers and pizza. I usually throw a big tournament every New Years Eve, and the kiddos in my family LOVE playing over thanksgiving and Christmas and other family functions.

Not many hobbies are all inclusive like that.

Seeing how happy my games make other people feel make it all worth it to me.
