    Last night, I had one of those rare nights where I was simply on fire. My reflexes were firing on all cylinders and I was hitting all my shots. Basically, I was "in the groove". I ended up putting my initials up on three of my games, which is a rarity, since the scores on most of my games are pretty high (at least for me). I even set a new grand champ score on my TZ, getting to LITZ three times in one game. The last time I even got a high score on that game was at least a few years ago. It was just one of those crazy nights where I was playing well beyond my normal skill level. It was so much fun, but I have to wonder why this never happens to me on league night ...

    Amen to that. Love those days you are on fire but they never seem to come during league or tournament night. I had one of those days last week. Put up a new GC on my GOT, MET and AC/DC all in the same night. Went to a tournament the next day and took a dump on half the games I played.

    Had that yesterday afternoon. Went into Boston to check out a game to buy, ended up playing some TWD Pro and we just gelled to the point where I took down GC in 3 plays.

    Love when things actually click.

    Same this morning. Demolished my old Junk Yard high score, which is ranked #6 on Pinside. But otherwise like you, I'm mostly cold-luke warm.
