Spanking only proves that a parent can't handle their children and is all about fear.
I never once went to my room after a spanking and thought...
"Ya know what, dad was right...i was disrespectful and need to learn from this"
It was more like "eff you, you're a monster and i hope you die"
The reason people think about punching their teenage kids, is because they see themselves in their children.
Your children become what they see everyday from you.
The problem is we are human and we think of our parents as super human.
If you're lucky it's not until later in life that you realize they aren't.
